EXAIR’s atomizing spray nozzles atomize fluids (most commonly water) in a range of spray patterns for a variety of uses. They combine liquid and compressed air to create a mist of atomized liquid that can be easily adjusted to meet the needs of your application. All models use stainless steel construction for durability and corrosion resistance. Atomizing spray nozzles are available in 1/4 NPT and 1/2 NPT sizes.
Internal Mix Atomizing Nozzles
- mix liquid and compressed air inside the nozzle to provide fine atomization. They can be used with liquids that have a viscosity up to 300 cP. Both liquid and air feeds require pressurization.

External Mix Atomizing Nozzles
- use independent air and liquid control to create a precise volume flow. They can be used on liquids with a viscosity above 300 cP.
• Ideal for producing a high volume spray for heavy coatings or heavy particulate control

Siphon Fed Atomizing Nozzles
- are designed for applications where no liquid pressure is available. The can be used with gravity fed liquids or liquids from a siphon height as much as 36" (91 cm). They can be used with liquids that have a viscosity up to 200 cP.
• Ideal where no liquid pressure is available and a thin coating of liquid is required
